Great place to relax and invest! First experience was HORRIBLE, was at the gate and couldn't get in "the gentleman" that came to the gate was not willing to assist. Swimming pool, beach area, play scapes, large and small ponds, lots of open area. Not diverse enough
Great place to have quality family time. Everyone you get to know becomes friends for life. Best decision we ever made was becoming a member of this park. We have made memories that are priceless and always look forward to next year.
Lighthouse Village is a fun-filled family campground-style RV Park. My family has been a member for about 20 years now and I recently became a member as well. Great place to let the kids ride bikes safely and freely throughout the park. Lots of activities for families and kids, such as swimming in beaches or the pool, tennis courts, volleyball, baseball, soccer field, playgrounds and special activities are always planned and communicated in advance for every summer holiday. I somewhat agree with the other post about the security being restrictive, but they are member volunteers who patrol the park to ensure cars/trucks do not exceed the posted speed limits and to ensure every is safe. However, a couple do let the position go to their heads and tend to stir up some drama with certain members, but those are just character flaws of the individuals (probably need better interviewing techniques when filling those positions). It used to be quite full of retirees, but that's changed quite a bit over the last five years and more and more younger families are buying into the park.
Many great memories as a child being here with my grandparents and now i have cousins and a sister who own lots at Lighthouse. Its nice to get away and being a gated community, people can't bug you! Lol
It's a great Community to get yourself a little vacation spot. It's mostly quiet a lot of older folks um kids. A lake that does not allow motor boats.
